Rolfing:
A form of manual therapy that helps your body calm down, unwind tension, and move the way it was meant to.
You know when something in your body just feels “off”?
Your hip always hurts….
Your back stays tight no matter how much your stretch….
Or you’ve tried massage, chiropractic, physical therapy, or mobility work and nothing sticks?
This helps your body let go of that.
I use slow, intentional touch to help things line up again so you can move easier and feel lighter.
It’s not about pressing really hard or “fixing” you, it’s more like helping your body remember how to work the way it’s suppose to.
Most people usually come in because something hurts or just doesn’t feel right. After a few sessions, they say they feel taller, more relaxed, and like their body finally makes sense again.
If you’ve tried massage, physical therapy, chiropractic, or stretching and nothing sticks, this might be what actually helps.
Laser Therapy:
Low-Level Laser Therapy (also called cold laser therapy) is a gentle, non-invasive treatment that supports your body’s natural healing process. It works by stimulating your cells to repair themselves faster, reducing discomfort and helping your tissues recover more efficiently.
I use the Erchonia® Laser, a safe, FDA-cleared cold laser, to target inflammation, pain, and tissue repair — all without heat, chemicals, or downtime.
Clients often notice benefits such as:
Decreased pain
Reduced inflammation
Increased cell regeneration
This therapy works beautifully alongside Rolfing®, giving your body a powerful combination to move better, reduce tension, and recover faster.

Rolfing® Structural Integration + Low-Level Laser Therapy:
You want to feel better, not temporarily, but for real. Rolfing Structural Integration and Low-Level Laser Therapy work together to help your body unwind tension, reduce inflammation, and improve overall mobility. If you’re dealing with chronic pain, persistent tightness, postural imbalance, or stress-related discomfort, these therapies address the root of the issue instead of masking symptoms. Clients throughout Crested Butte and the Gunnison Valley often notice they feel lighter, more open, and more grounded after sessions, like their body finally moves the way it’s supposed to. Sessions include gentle, intentional hands-on work and movement education tailored to your unique structure, helping you experience noticeable relief without painful pressure.
Together, Rolfing and Erchonia Low-Level Laser Therapy support faster healing and longer-lasting changes in the body. Rolfing helps reorganize your body’s structure and movement patterns, while the cold laser boosts cellular repair and calms irritated tissue so your system can settle more quickly. This combination works especially well for people struggling with chronic lower back pain, neck tension, hip pain, shoulder issues, athletic injuries, or general stiffness that doesn’t respond to massage or chiropractic care alone. If you live in Crested Butte, Mt. Crested Butte, or the greater Gunnison Valley and want to move better, reduce pain, and get back to your active mountain lifestyle, this integrated approach can help you feel and function at your best.

Rolfing® is a body based therapy that helps improve the structure and function of the human body while in the gravitational field. This happens through hands-on manipulation work and movement education. Rolfing® focuses on the fascia layers, the nervous system, and body movement patterns. In a session the pressure is satisfying and appropriate to the client, a sensation that feels good and not painful. By working with these systems, at a slow speed, the body may shift into better alignment. Through the Rolfing® Structural Integration process clients begin to develop functional patterns and pathways. This process is like a “re-start” for the body to become more functional, efficient, and aligned.

Like learning a language, traveling the world, financial freedom or any goal we set, it takes time to get there. Putting in time will allow the body to remember what it is you are trying to do. The Rolfing® 10-series is the classic whole body formula developed by Dr. Ida P. Rolf in the 1940's. Systematically it works in a way that each session builds on the last and continues on to the next allowing the greatest change possible to occur. This sequence enables the effects to not only last, but continues an intelligent process to systematically balance and organize the body.

Have you ever had a Physical Therapy session or an advanced massage? You can imagine Rolfing® looks like these two therapy’s mixed as one. But the method/technique of Rolfing is very different from massage or PT. Rolfing sessions are tailored to the client and what their needs/goals are. Not one mold fits all, in Rolfing® we are molding each session specifically to the client. I do this by looking at how the client moves their body. I am testing, working, re-testing.
If you are a new client I’ll have you fill out paper work prior to your session.
Appropriate clothing:
Women: Sports bra/bra, tank, shorts, underwear, bikini
Men: boxer briefs, athletic shorts

Rolfing and Chiropractic both seek to align the body through hands-on manipulation. Rolfing lengthens and balances the fascia so that it’s congruent to the client. By balancing the fascia, any tension and imbalances are corrected. Chiropractic focuses primarily on the alignment of bones and joints by using high velocity to move the bone to its proper position. However, If there is restriction in the fascia chiropractic adjustments won’t be effective because the bones are getting pulled out of alignment from the restricted fascia.
*Another big difference is the time. A chiropractic appointment will normally be under 10 minutes of hands on work, whereas a Rolfing session will be 65 minutes of hands on work. Fascia takes much longer to work with then a grade 5 high velocity chiropractic appointment.
